Skyrim V
« on: November 13, 2011, 03:54:37 pm »
I just downloaded Skyrim V. anyone else who got it? I think the game is great :D The only thing that bothers me is the engine, its a bit old and takes alot of good hardware to run it at high or ultra settings.

Razor group to the rescue! Found it myself, though as this is an open topic, I can't post the link here (too many spies) if anyone wants it I'll post linkage in the private members board or summink. See how it goes.

I'm not touching that half-assed, buggy, non-mouse support, consolified p.o.s. Bethesta game until the modders have fixed it. But yes, they do make the best framework for open world games. Too bad they never can bother finish their games. Same as with Oblivion. Modblivion FTW! (OOO).

Feel like the x-mas grinch now but so be it.

What he said. Great game, poorly executed. I have never experienced a worse UI in my life. A fucking PC game that doesnt support the mouse in the menu's, which you are always using. I haven't played it for weeks but I will when there is some mods or summink to make it bearable.

That doesnt look bad actually. Reminds me of the old "summoner" game for the PS2.

Well, as you'd expect me to say, its pretty good tbh, you can get the 3 dvd expansions if you get through the game enjoyably, the game, and the first expansion is really good, 2 is a bit dull, and I've not tried the third one.

but there is plenty of gameplay in it, and a bit of leaway when it comes to following the script.
And if your party is buff, you can just execute most things, and many plot characters and still make it to the end.

Proper D&D ruleset as well if your into that kinda thing.

7 squids on steam atm for the platinum version with the expansions. I may see if it gets into the steam sale stuff and get it.

Looks like Skyrim may become playable soon. The mod tools were just released, now we just have to wait for the modders to fix it.
