depends what you fancy I guess. I hear the nostromo is good, but I don't go in for that weird shape gimmick stuff. For that kinda money you should definitely be looking at their product range, as well as logitech. Always sworn by logitech stuff, never failed me yet. Sure others who have experiences with that kinda weird gear will reply too I suppose, specifically jopak if he sees this as he's just bought himself a new keyboard and mouse setup, but personally I like the old fashioned stuff and my logitech setup works fine :)

lol yeah now THAT is one that is merely a gimmick. Probably a 50 percent markup. I've always liked the idea of macro's but I'd never use it myself, bit too much like cheating in my opinion lol.

Good luck on the hunt anyway, and if in doubt go logitech :) stick to what you know fella. (btw not a bad keyboard you got. Mine is the lower range 250. I liked the styling better strangely. simple and accessible, can't beat it).

Hi Slick!

Well, I don't recommend smashing any keyboard out there tbh.
Stop of looking for durability in products, try start managing your temper instead! :)

I have a Thermaltake - Challenger PRO:

and it kicks ass! It even came with the fan which stops my left hand from sweating. Neat as fuck!
Also cheap... and most importantly: BACKLIT!

Looks great!
Can you change backlit color as well? I'll have alook, thx

No, unfortunately.. you can only turn it off, or have 3 levels of strength on the back-light
I'd also like it more if it had more colors, like blue, green, purple etc,
but trust me, the lack of colors is all compensated by that awesome tiny fan!

Personally I will recommend the microsoft sidewinder, as its pretty, hardwearing and if you get pissed it has a detachable keypad to bounce off the wall ;)

I've been using mine for the past 12-18 months and i love it.

Also the sidewinder mouse is worth having a mooch at but make sure its the wired version with the LCD screen as you get weights and 3 sets of mouse pads/feet.

I killed 2 keyboards and 3 mice  ;)
And now I manage to "just hit my fist on the table" without mouse or keyboard suffering.

200 euro's helps to get rid of this disease ;D

ps my keyboard is the cheapest logitech I could find not even USB and only 15 euro's
my mouse on the other hand is the new logitech G 500 (it's great!)
yes, it is a long headshot.

I use a 15 euro basic logitech keyboards,    coz they got all the buttons you need, they got a cable so is't fast and if you break 'm you won't burst into tears   :'(
I'd put the money into more grafix power or a fancy mouse. Sadly I do break those coz I found out I press very hard on the "fire button" when repairing ( I must be thinking unconsciously that it 'll repair faster if I press harder)  :-[

Still, It's a nice keyboard ;)
